Keywords used with too much frequency can look like keyword stuffing and you could get penalized by Google and others. It all changes though with synonyms because search engines like this sort of use of words, and it will be viewed in a favorable way.

So that’s all called Latent Semantic Indexing, or LSI, and it has to do with related words to your niche and keywords. LSI concerns the interrelatedness of words and will add to the overall value of your content, etc. Some people also bold the primary keyword phrase in the first paragraph of the content.

Of course you’ll attract the eyes of the reader, but the most important thing is that you score a few SEO plus points. It gives out an impression that you’re stressing on that one word because it’s important. It serves to hook the reader’s attention, and you need all the help you can get – so do it. As stated, bolded keywords do have SEO value although not terribly much, but it’s worth it to do. So the take away is to be relevant in all you do, and that will help you more than you realize.

The title of your page is extremely important because it contains your main keywords. Try not to forget to create title and description tags that will contain the keywords for that page. It will make some amount of difference in your overall SEO score with the search engines. However, overdoing this might land you in trouble.

Another term for this is keyword spamming or stuffing, and if Google thinks you’re doing that you’ll get hit hard. Your main keyword should be used just once in the first paragraph, and then a total density of about 3%, generally speaking.

SEO copywriting isn’t always the easiest thing to do. If you desire to be successful and get those great SEO results, then you’ll need to put something into it in the form of work and effort. It’s easy to forget and make mistakes, but just try to remember what you learn and do your best.

    Copywriting is a great part of SEO! But the only issue I see is that it is very hard to get natural links these days. People are just not linking like they did a few years ago. I think they are scared of Big G looking down on them for linking to other sites. I could be wrong but its just my 2 cents on the paradigm.

    I find SEO copyrighting can be hard, I always find myself repeating things or just trying to cram keywords.

  4. I try to avoid keyword stuffing as much as possible and keep my keyword density at about 2 percent. That is quality SEO Copywriting for me.
